As one of the leading Heating Engineers in Lincolnshire for both oil and renewables, our services include:

Air Source Heat Pump

An air-to-water heat pump transfers heat from the outside air to water, which heats your rooms via radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat water stored in a hot water cylinder for your hot taps, showers and baths.

Heat from the air is absorbed into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump, which raises the temperature and then transfers that heat to water.

For further information on how a heat pump works, including details on typical savings, system design and control, see the in depth guide to heat pumps on the Energy Saving Trust website.

Ground Source Heat Pump

A ground-to-water heat pump transfers heat from the ground outside your home to heat your radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat water stored in a hot water cylinder for your hot taps and showers.

Thermal transfer fluid (TTF), a mixture of water and antifreeze flows around a loop of pipe buried in trenches. Heat from the ground is absorbed into the fluid, which then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump. This raises the temperature of the fluid and then transfers that heat to water.

For further information on how a heat pump works, including details on typical savings, system design and control, see the in depth guide to heat pumps on the Energy Saving Trust website.

Oil Tank Replacement

Complete Oil Tank replacement service available in-house. We are able to survey and quote for both plastic and metal bunded tanks sited according to OFTEC regulations for optimal safety.

We can include various features such as remote monitoring of oil level and added security locking facilities.

• New installation / replacement
• Water ingress removal
• Relocation of existing tanks
• Ensuring tank and pipe work meets oftec regulations.
• Fitting of fire valves and cut off valves
• AdBlue bulk storage / dispensing tanks
• Diesel dispensing tanks

Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating works by distributing a lower temperature of warm water through a circuit of pipes beneath the finished floor. Heat is monitored and controlled by intelligent thermostats to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the property or individual zones.

It works particularly well with heat pumps which also work on a lower temperature.

Learn about Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are suitable for almost all homes and may also reduce your energy bills, depending on the system you are replacing.
