Richard Taylor began the business in 1976 and it remains a family-run business working throughout Lincolnshire today.
Richard trained and worked for Shellmex/BP for many years working all over Lincolnshire. When he started his own Oil equipment Service business in 1976 he went into partnership with his wife Patricia who helped with the administration.
As the business grew, two more engineers joined, working with Richard.
Sadly, Richard passed away in 2009 but the family rallied round and the company employs 6 fully-qualified engineers with the day to day running covered by Carla and Simon in the office with Patricia taking a more back seat position.
Roger Newton joined us in 1999 and has considerable experience on many boilers. He is fully qualified to OFTEC standards and knows the regulations inside out. He also plays an important part in training up new engineers.
Daniel Ellerby was recruited in 2007, learning from the experience of his fellow workers and gaining full OFTEC qualifications. He now heads up our renewables team and has completed many courses to ensure that our installs are spot on.
Mark Gale joined us in 2019 and is rapidly proving to be an asset to the business. He has completed his training and has OFTEC registration.
Neil Reader has joined the merry band and is now OFTEC registered for oil boiler servicing and oil tank installation.
Matt Palmer is our fully qualified plumber and is mostly working on Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps which is proving very popular.
The engineers work together, discussing new innovations and problem solving ideas and we are pleased to be able to still call upon Andy Ellerby, our employee since 1985 for his wealth of knowledge.
We are also pleased to be able to offer full oil boiler central heating system installation. This comprehensive, professional and competitive service is headed up by our on call plumber, Will Watson, supported by our other engineers as required.
